About the role#
This student worker position supports food service and catering operations at ASU-C-Store Markets. The role focuses on food preparation, safety compliance, and delivering quality service to the campus community.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and assemble food items using standardized recipes.
- Store food products properly according to established standards.
- Set up, break down, clean, and sanitize workstations including prep tables and service areas.
- Serve food to customers while maintaining a positive demeanor and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Replenish stock levels and ensure workstations remain organized.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies while maintaining the security of company assets.
What you'll need#
- Ability to demonstrate guest service skills.
- Must possess or be willing to acquire a food safety certification.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear required uniforms or personal protective equipment.
- Open to students from majors including Business Administration, Nutrition, and Civil Engineering.
