This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2026 term based at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This role focuses on culinary operations and staff supervision within a hospitality setting.
What you'll do#
- Assist in supervising culinary staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to meet established standards.
- Contribute to menu planning and recipe development processes.
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen.
- Provide training to new kitchen staff members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program, specifically Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or Cybersecurity.
- Previous culinary experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a busy kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership experience or skills.
