About the role#
This internship focuses on the intersection of product design, supply chain technology, and manufacturing execution. You will work within the Operations team to bridge the gap between initial product concepts and the large-scale production of devices like the iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The role involves collaborating across internal product teams and external manufacturing partners to maintain production schedules and product quality.
What you'll do#
- Support the Operations team in daily activities.
- Contribute to the implementation of product designs.
- Interact directly with suppliers and manufacturing partners.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the management of production timelines to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
- Engage in environmental efforts related to manufacturing and supply chain operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a PhD program.
- Academic background in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or Supply Chain Management.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional product teams.
- Commitment to ensuring high standards for product delivery.
