About the role#
Apache Stainless Equipment Corporation and Mepaco offer a rolling internship for students pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. This role provides exposure to various functional areas within our engineering department. You will work alongside supervisors and team members to expand your technical knowledge while applying your academic studies to real projects.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering teams by taking on technical tasks.
- Complete specific portions of assignments for higher-level staff.
- Participate in a variety of engineering projects.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited bachelor's program for mechanical engineering.
- Completion of your sophomore year.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks at once.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English.
- Professional demeanor when interacting with others.
- A long-term interest in mechanical engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on manufacturing experience is helpful.
