About the role#
As an AI Automation Intern, you will work directly with the CEO and leadership team to identify, design, and ship AI-powered automations across the company. This is a builder role. You will move between teams to learn how each function operates and replace manual, repetitive work with reliable systems. This position is designed for someone who wants real ownership and high responsibility in an intense environment.
What you'll do#
- Partner with the CEO and department heads to identify manual workflows and remove bottlenecks.
- Design and build AI-powered automations, internal tools, and scripts to replace repetitive tasks.
- Support and improve day-to-day operations across fulfillment, customer experience, and supply chain.
- Build AI-assisted workflows for reporting, analysis, and campaign execution.
- Support financial analysis, forecasting, and unit economics by building models and dashboards.
- Tackle high-priority, ad-hoc projects directly with the CEO.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a top-tier university with a degree in engineering, science, math, business, or a related field.
- Business majors must have self-taught light coding skills and technical fluency.
- An AI-native mindset with hands-on experience using AI tools, automation platforms, and low-code solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with comfort working across operations, growth, and finance.
- A genuine interest in physical operations, including production, supply chain, warehousing, and delivery.
- A strong work ethic, high ambition, and the ability to work on-site.
Location & details#
- Location: San Francisco, California (On-site).
- Term: 12 or more weeks, full-time.
- Compensation: $5,000 per month.
- This role does not offer visa sponsorship.
