About the role#
As a Software Test Technician Intern, you will support the mobile app development team at AOB Products. You will help ensure the quality of our applications by testing new features, tracking bugs, and assisting the customer service team with user issues. This role involves monitoring app store feedback to help the development team prioritize improvements.
What you'll do#
- Test new app features and updates.
- Identify and report software bugs.
- Work with customer service to resolve user issues.
- Monitor app stores for feedback and report findings to developers.
- Handle data entry and categorization tasks.
- Support the development team with other duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science, Information Technology, or related degree program.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort with handling multiple tasks and priorities.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
- Familiarity with mobile app development (iOS and Android) is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Java, Swift, or Kotlin is a plus.
- Experience with mobile app testing processes is a plus.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Columbia, Missouri.
- This is an on-site, paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
- The role requires regular attendance, the ability to sit for long periods, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- You must have authorization to work in the United States.
