About the role#
Anning-Johnson Company offers a paid, full-time summer internship for students to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry. Interns are paired with experienced mentors and work alongside project managers and estimators on active projects. This role provides exposure to both office and field operations, focusing on practical skill development and project execution.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project takeoffs and estimating.
- Help manage RFIs and submittals.
- Support project coordination and general project execution tasks.
- Engage in both office-based planning and on-site job duties.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Logistics, or Operations Management.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
- Ability to work as a team-oriented problem solver.
- Initiative and a strong desire to learn.
