About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2026 based on-site in Pointe-Claire, Quebec. You will join the Hydro Services Engineering team to support the strategic sales and service lifecycle for hydroelectric facilities. This role involves collaborating with experts on technical and commercial projects related to the modernization, maintenance, and performance optimization of hydroelectric equipment.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the preparation of service offers by gathering technical data, costs, and schedules.
- Analyze customer needs by reviewing equipment history, performance reports, and support requests.
- Assist in drafting commercial proposals, customer presentations, and follow-up documentation.
- Conduct market research on existing hydroelectric power plants, modernization opportunities, and upcoming calls for bids.
- Support the team in CRM management, including updating contacts, tracking opportunities, and documenting interactions.
- Prepare comparative tables, cost analyses, and technical summaries to support account managers.
- Participate in internal and external meetings to observe technical and commercial discussions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in the 2nd or 3rd year of a mechanical or electrical engineering degree program.
- Strong motivation, initiative, and autonomy.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, including conceptualization, 3D perception, and knowledge of mechanical components.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure with competing priorities.
- Bilingual proficiency.
- Legal status to work in Canada.
