About the role#
Amico Affiliates is seeking a Student Project Coordinator Co-op for the Winter 2027 term. This position offers exposure to the full project lifecycle, from initial planning stages through to final close-out. You will work alongside project managers, site staff, and consultants to support the safe and efficient delivery of infrastructure projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily project documentation, scheduling, and coordination.
- Maintain logs for RFIs, submittals, site instructions, and change orders.
- Prepare meeting minutes, progress updates, and track project costs.
- Review and track construction drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
- Liaise with field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep communication flowing.
- Help track procurement and expedite material deliveries.
- Organize project files and digital records.
- Support project close-out by compiling as-built drawings and turnover documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program for Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Valid driver's license.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
