About the role#
This is a 3-month internship at American Family Care in Cicero, Illinois. You will focus on selling and marketing urgent care medical services to local businesses, physicians, and consumers. Your work supports the growth of daily patient counts and builds brand awareness for the center.
What you'll do#
- Increase the total number of patients per day.
- Develop strategies to improve market awareness of urgent care and occupational health services.
- Reach out to target markets, new business opportunities, and customers.
- Represent the company by calling on local businesses and medical practices, giving presentations, or attending industry events.
- Build and maintain working relationships with departments, center staff, corporate employees, and franchisees.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor's degree or relevant education.
- Ability to conduct face-to-face sales appointments.
- Experience or ability to perform cold and warm calling.
- Comfort visiting offices and residential areas.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- A motivated, independent, and results-driven approach to establishing new business.
