About the role#
The Administrative & Membership Intern supports daily office operations, membership services, and cross-departmental initiatives. This position provides exposure to nonprofit operations and professional office workflows while allowing for contributions to internal process improvements.
What you'll do#
- Manage office tasks including answering phone calls, handling mail, and maintaining supply inventories.
- Perform data entry and database clean-up projects to ensure accurate member records.
- Support membership inquiries and communications.
- Assist various departments with administrative projects, event fulfillment, and publication processes.
- Participate in internal process improvement initiatives and complete special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university program, with a preference for fields such as business, finance, legal studies, communications, or technology.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfort level with technology and digital tools, with familiarity in AI platforms and automation tools considered a plus.
- Professional demeanor and strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, work independently, and demonstrate accountability.
