About the role#
This is a full-time internship position for the Fall 2026 term based in Toronto. You will join the Electrification management team to support project coordination and contribute to electrification initiatives. This role involves working across various departments, including Engineering, Construction, and Project Management.
What you'll do#
- Manage project-level interfaces with team members and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare weekly and monthly internal and external reports for project meetings.
- Assist in the consolidation of key performance indicators using automated dashboards such as Excel and Power BI.
- Support the coordination of subcontractors and suppliers, including preparing business cases and readiness for approvals.
- Maintain and update the Electrification Deliverables List in coordination with Engineering, Construction, and document control teams.
- Support documentation management, including tracking and publication workflows.
- Conduct technical benchmarking and research internal best practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
- A strong understanding of Electrification subsystems.
- Knowledge of PMO processes.
- Proficiency in English.
- Familiarity with standard office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as Power BI, Visio, and project management software.
- Desirable qualifications include current enrollment in a Master’s degree program in Business Administration, Engineering, or Project Management, and knowledge of Railway Electrification systems.
