About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship position for the Fall 2026 term. You will join the Overhead Catenary System (OCS) design team in Toronto to support railway electrification projects. This role involves collaborating with System Engineering and BIM teams to ensure design submissions are completed on time and meet all necessary standards.
What you'll do#
- Support the OCS design team in meeting project deadlines and submission goals.
- Develop Basic and Detailed design documentation within your assigned scope.
- Perform 3D modelling activities to assist in OCS design development.
- Provide technical support on OCS topics to System Engineering and BIM teams.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant normative references and local standards.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across departments and international locations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
- Familiarity with AutoDesk software and other modelling tools.
- Knowledge of Canadian engineering standards and common practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English.
- An analytical approach with critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
