    About the role#

    Aldridge Electric is hiring a Project Management Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Libertyville, Illinois. This role involves travel and supports project management with administrative and operational tasks throughout the project lifecycle.

    What you'll do#

    • Coordinate with the project team.
    • Promote safety on the jobsite and work with the Safety Department to address issues.
    • Support the corporate quality program by tracking components like task lists and pre-job planning.
    • Procure tools and manage material orders.
    • Document project costs.
    • Interface with customers and subcontractors.
    • Support general project execution.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment as a junior or senior in a college or university.
    • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
    • Genuine interest in the construction industry.
    • Ability to work in various roles based on department needs.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • A hands-on, team-oriented, and solution-focused attitude.
    • Ability to relate to a diverse group of individuals.
    • Basic computer knowledge.

    • Term: Summer 2027.

    • Compensation: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour.
