About the role#
Aldridge Electric is hiring a Project Management Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Libertyville, Illinois. This role involves travel and supports project management with administrative and operational tasks throughout the project lifecycle.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate with the project team.
- Promote safety on the jobsite and work with the Safety Department to address issues.
- Support the corporate quality program by tracking components like task lists and pre-job planning.
- Procure tools and manage material orders.
- Document project costs.
- Interface with customers and subcontractors.
- Support general project execution.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a junior or senior in a college or university.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
- Genuine interest in the construction industry.
- Ability to work in various roles based on department needs.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A hands-on, team-oriented, and solution-focused attitude.
- Ability to relate to a diverse group of individuals.
- Basic computer knowledge.
