This is a full-time, paid internship position as an Assistant to the Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. The role operates on a rolling basis and requires on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Support the Speech Language Pathologist with daily operations.
- Prepare instructional materials for student use.
- Assist with behavior management strategies in the classroom.
- Monitor and track student progress toward their goals.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student needs and updates.
What you'll need#
- Ability to assist in the implementation of speech programs.
- Capacity to conduct assessments to determine eligibility for services.
- Experience or willingness to collaborate with education staff.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate and confidential student records.
- Commitment to participating in required staff training programs.
- Academic background in Psychology, Nursing, Public Health, Communications, Human Resources, Kinesiology, or Biology.
