About the role#
This is a full-time, paid assistant position supporting the Speech Language Pathologist for the 26-27 school year. You will work on-site in Aurora, Colorado.
What you'll do#
- Support the Speech Language Pathologist in daily operations.
- Prepare instructional materials for student use.
- Assist with behavior management in the classroom.
- Monitor student progress and document results.
- Communicate with parents regarding student needs.
What you'll need#
- A background in Psychology, Nursing, Public Health, Communications, Human Resources, Kinesiology, or Biology.
- Ability to assist in implementing speech programs.
- Experience conducting assessments for service eligibility.
- Skills to collaborate with education staff.
- Attention to detail when maintaining confidential student records.
- Willingness to participate in staff training programs.
