About the role#
This is a part-time, paid internship for pharmacy students. You will work on-site in Superior, Colorado, gaining hands-on practice in a retail pharmacy setting. The role involves a rolling term with potential for visa sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Perform all tasks under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or designated preceptor.
- Fill prescriptions while following all laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Provide advice and consultation to customers and health care professionals regarding drug therapy and health products.
- Participate in clinical services, including immunizations, vaccinations, MTM, point of care testing, and disease state management.
- Help implement company initiatives to improve pharmacy profitability.
- Focus on patient counseling and customer service.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.
- A valid state intern license if required by the state of employment.
- Ability to adapt to changes in schedule and work priorities.
- Ability to cooperate with others and work as part of a team.
