About the role#
This is a part-time internship for pharmacy students looking to gain practical experience in a retail setting. You will work under the guidance of a registered pharmacist or preceptor to support patient care and pharmacy operations. The role is on-site and follows a rolling term structure.
What you'll do#
- Perform all tasks under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Prepare and fill prescriptions in accordance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Offer consultation to customers and healthcare professionals regarding drug therapy, prescription knowledge, and health products.
- Participate in clinical services and support company initiatives to improve pharmacy profitability.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited pharmacy school.
- A valid state intern license, if required by Washington state regulations.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities and schedules based on business needs.
