About the role#
As a Project Engineer Intern, you will work on assignments determined by your hiring manager based on current business needs. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship based in Saint Louis, Missouri. You must maintain collegiate status throughout the duration of the program.
What you'll do#
- Complete specific projects assigned by your manager.
- Handle in-house tasks such as business development, proposals, or estimating.
- Perform project site duties including scheduling, work planning, and oversight of trades and subcontractors.
- Travel to company offices, subsidiary locations, and meetings with clients, subcontractors, or suppliers.
- Maintain regular and reliable in-person attendance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Civil, Industrial, Mechanical, or Construction Management engineering.
- Ability to read and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
- Proficiency in writing reports and business correspondence.
- Skills in basic algebra, geometry, and calculating figures like percentages and proportions.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw logical conclusions from technical instructions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Strong organizational skills to manage time and daily duties.
