About the role#
This is a casual, rolling internship based in Wilmington, Ohio. You will rotate through the Component Repair and Overhaul and Aircraft Parts departments to gain experience across various aviation industry functions. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Perform general maintenance tasks to support the component repair process.
- Complete cleaning, painting, and sanding tasks following applicable manuals and internal policies.
- Gain hands-on experience with aircraft parts and the associated accountability processes.
- Support and collaborate with several key operational areas.
- Explore different job scopes and aspects of the aviation industry.
What you'll need#
- Must be a student referred from the Laurel Oaks Aviation Program.
- Ability to effectively speak, read, and write in English.
- Ability to wear a respirator and required safety gear for painting.
- Ability to work with various cleaning agents.
- Must pass a drug test.
