About the role#
This summer internship offers practical experience within the Internal Audit team at Air Products. You will gain exposure to financial systems including SAP ECC, SAP BW, and BPC while working on Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls testing and operational audits. This is a full-time, paid position based in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
What you'll do#
- Conduct joint meetings with external auditors and management to test the operating effectiveness of internal controls.
- Prepare work papers and analyze evidence of control performance.
- Execute audit programs and perform testing across areas such as Financial Reporting, Payroll, Taxes, and Revenue.
- Support the follow up of issues identified during testing.
- Document conclusions reached during audit procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore or junior working toward a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- A minimum GPA of 3.3.
- Previous experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
- An inquisitive mindset and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience with data analytics tools is preferred.
