About the role#
AeroSpec is hiring engineering interns for a year-round position. This role offers hands-on training alongside our engineering team. You will work on equipment assembly, machine shop rotations, and design projects. This is a paid, on-site role based in Chandler, Arizona.
What you'll do#
- Design 3D printed prototypes and model components in CAD.
- Create technical drawings and assembly documentation.
- Organize CAD workflows.
- Support design of experiments, equipment validation, and testing.
- Assist with training and testing for robotic and vision systems.
- Participate in hands-on assembly tasks and machine shop rotations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a freshman or sophomore in a Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering program, or a graduating high school senior planning to enroll.
- Ability to work at least 20 hours per week during school semesters.
- Ability to work full-time during school breaks.
- Experience with SolidWorks or AutoCAD is preferred.
- Experience with electronics, wiring, 3D printing, prototyping, assembly, machining, or software programming is a plus.
