About the role#
Aeris Partners is hiring Summer Associates for our San Francisco office. This role offers an opportunity to develop strategic advisory skills and gain a deep understanding of the technology industry. You will work on M&A transactions typically ranging from $200 million to over $2 billion. You will work closely with senior team members, client management teams, and leading private equity and publicly traded firms.
What you'll do#
- Participate in all aspects of transaction development and execution.
- Work directly with client management teams, board members, stakeholders, and buyers throughout the advisory and execution process.
- Engage and present in client and prospect meetings.
- Coordinate and support due diligence activities.
- Develop expertise in technology sectors and communicate industry trends.
What you'll need#
- MBA candidate from a top-tier program with exceptional academic performance.
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting, financial statements, and valuation methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional work ethic and a creative, entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with corporate executives.
- High level of attention to detail and outstanding leadership skills.
- Passion for technology and the ability to develop business expertise in software.
- Eligibility to work permanently in the United States.
- A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
