About the role#
This internship provides hands-on clinical experience within a Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) setting. You will work with adolescents aged 13 to 17 and their families. As a member of the clinical team, you will learn alongside licensed supervisors and take on direct responsibilities to support patient care.
What you'll do#
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy.
- Participate in treatment team meetings.
- Collaborate on care planning.
- Perform crisis intervention and follow safety protocols.
- Assist with admissions, assessments, and documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's or Doctoral program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
- Ability to pass a Level 2 background check.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
