About the role#
This is a paid, full-time practicum opportunity for Master's level students pursuing a career as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. You will work in a center-based setting in League City, Texas. This program is designed to support your path toward certification while you gain hands-on experience.
What you'll do#
- Provide early intervention therapy to children ages 18 months to 8 years old.
- Implement individualized treatment plans for each child.
- Collect data to track progress and outcomes.
- Collaborate with BCBAs on your team.
- Dedicate 8 hours per week, outside of direct care, to complete BDS modules.
- Prepare to sit for the BACB exam within 6 months of joining the team.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
- Enrollment in an accredited Master's program related to the field.
- Completion of 85% of your required fieldwork hours (1700 out of 2000 hours).
- All restricted hours must be completed.
