About the role#
Accel is hiring current college juniors to join our investment team for a summer internship in San Francisco. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role for Summer 2027. You will work directly with our investment team to learn the inner workings of venture capital. Successful interns will be considered for full-time roles after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Source and explore new companies across industries that interest you.
- Spend time with founders and help our team decide where to lean in.
- Conduct deep research on technology, markets, and companies.
- Support our portfolio companies on operational and strategic initiatives.
- Receive mentorship and training from the Accel investment team.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current junior in college.
- A track record of exceptional achievement.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate with many types of people.
- Creativity and curiosity.
- A passion for technology, shown through personal projects or academic interests.
- Comfort in unstructured environments where you take initiative.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
- Experience in engineering or technical work environments is a plus.
