About the role#
As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will gain practical experience by supporting operations and quality initiatives. You will work under the guidance of the Quality and Operations Excellence Manager to learn how we maintain high standards and improve process performance. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects.
- Support quality engineering projects through data collection, process audits, and problem-solving.
- Analyze manufacturing processes to find opportunities for increased efficiency, consistency, and product quality.
- Join team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative work.
- Seek feedback from your manager and team members to improve your skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, Biomedical, or Environmental Engineering in the United States.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
- Strong critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop solutions.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks at once while maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to collaborate with team members to share information and provide project updates.
Location & details#
- Location: New Berlin, Wisconsin.
- Work Modality: This is an on-site role. You must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Compensation: The expected pay range is $20 to $34 per hour, depending on your qualifications, graduation year, and experience.
- Note: No relocation assistance or stipend is offered. Interns are expected to reside within a 50-mile radius of the office and manage their own commuting arrangements.
