About the role#
The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Intern supports our team in providing financial analysis, forecasting, and decision support. You will gain hands-on experience in corporate finance while developing your modeling and communication skills. This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-range planning by compiling and validating financial information.
- Compare actual results against budgets and forecasts to identify business drivers and research variances.
- Develop recurring financial reports, dashboards, and presentation materials.
- Maintain financial models for scenario analysis, business cases, and operational decisions.
- Learn how to use FP&A reporting tools to understand how financial data flows through our planning processes.
- Participate in team meetings and planning activities to observe how finance supports organizational decisions.
- Own a defined analytical project, gather relevant data, and present your final recommendations to FP&A leadership.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a rising undergraduate junior or senior, graduate student, or postdoctoral student in an accredited program.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, anticipate needs, and work under tight deadlines.
- Independent judgment to evaluate options and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work well with diverse populations and maintain professional relationships.
- Reliability and the ability to work effectively in a home office environment.
