Stagiaire en logistique et opérations – Transport routier

About the role#

XTL Transport Inc. is seeking a logistics and operations intern for the summer 2026 term. Reporting to the operations manager, you will support the optimization of road transport activities and gain practical experience in daily logistical operations at our Vaudreuil-Dorion facility.

What you'll do#

• Plan and optimize transport routes.
• Assist in the daily coordination of pickup and delivery operations.
• Track shipments and update status information in internal systems.
• Communicate with drivers, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and process transport documentation, including delivery slips and bills of lading.
• Resolve operational issues such as delays and logistical constraints.
• Monitor performance indicators and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while providing general administrative support.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a logistics, transport, operations management, or related business administration program.
• Strong interest in the transport and supply chain sector.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in both French and English.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Experience with a Transport Management System (TMS) is considered an asset.

• Location: Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, Canada.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Evening shift (16:00 to 01:00).
• Status: Full-time, paid internship.
