About the role#
This is a 3-semester co-op opportunity for current college students enrolled in a program that provides academic credit for alternating co-op terms. You will function as a full member of the engineering team, contributing directly to the development of web-scale products that simplify and unify healthcare payments.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and test new features and platform enhancements.
- Participate in an agile development team using weekly sprints.
- Collaborate with peers, team leads, managers, directors, and the VP of Engineering.
- Push code into production throughout your term.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
- 0-3 years of experience.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts.
- Proficiency in at least one general purpose programming language, with a preference for C# and .NET.
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience with infrastructure components such as servers, networking, load balancers, and MQ.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
