About the role#
Wayside Youth & Family Support Network is seeking a Clinical Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, full-time internship based in Framingham, Massachusetts. Interns will work with the Metro West Community Services team to provide intensive, family-centered, and solution-focused treatment to youth and families. This role involves working in a variety of settings, including office environments, home visits, and community meetings.
What you'll do#
- Perform intakes, assessments, and develop treatment or individual care plans.
- Provide intensive wrap-around, family-centered, and solution-focused treatment.
- Coordinate care for families and individuals, including collaborating with various systems and providers.
- Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings and the intern seminar.
What you'll need#
- Must be a second or final year Master level student.
- Available for a minimum of 20 hours per week, including two evenings per week.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in diverse settings such as offices, homes, and community meetings.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to pass a CORI check and complete the pre-service orientation.
- Relevant academic background in Psychology, Public Health, Sociology, Nursing, Human Resources, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kinesiology, or Criminal Justice.
