Walker Sands is seeking a Public Relations Intern for a 12-week, full-time program. This role offers hands-on experience working across client teams specializing in B2B industries. The position is based in Seattle and follows a hybrid work model.
What you'll do#
- Develop media lists and coordinate media opportunities.
- Conceptualize and execute pitches.
- Write press releases and other client deliverables.
- Conduct research and draft speaking and awards submissions.
- Prepare media briefing materials.
What you'll need#
- Strong interest in the PR and communications industry, media, and current trends.
- Solid writing skills with a sharp eye for detail and grammar.
- Ability to work as a self-starter in a collaborative environment.
- Eligibility for full-time employment upon completion of the program.
- Academic background in Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, Marketing, or Public Health.
Location & details#
- Location: Seattle, Washington.
- Term: Fall 2026 (beginning September 7, 2026).
- Compensation: $21.30 per hour.
- Format: 40 hours per week, hybrid schedule.
