AI Social Media Content Intern

About the role#

Vocal Media is seeking an AI Social Media Content Intern to support the production and publication of AI-generated content across TikTok and Instagram Reels. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with professional AI workflows, social media strategy, and account management while contributing to accounts focused on AI trends, news, and culture.

What you'll do#

• Produce short-form AI-generated videos using tools such as HeyGen, Higgsfield, ElevenLabs, and CapCut.
• Develop content ideas rooted in AI trends, news, politics, and social issues.
• Write and edit captions and post copy tailored to specific account voices and platform styles.
• Manage the scheduling and publishing of content across multiple AI-themed social media accounts.
• Track emerging AI tools, platform algorithm updates, and cultural moments to inform content strategy.
• Monitor basic performance metrics and collaborate with social media managers on weekly priorities.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as an undergraduate student in communications, media studies, political science, marketing, or a related field.
• Genuine interest in AI-generated content and familiarity with at least one generative AI video tool.
• An active presence on TikTok and/or Instagram.
• Interest in progressive politics, social justice, or advocacy.
• Ability to work independently and maintain organization in a remote environment.
