Student Intern - Field Sales and Marketing

About the role#

Versiti Inc. is seeking a Field Sales and Marketing Intern for the Summer 2026 term. This role focuses on supporting blood collection needs by building community awareness and developing partnerships with university and community groups. Interns will work under the direction of the Donor Group Recruitment Manager to source new accounts, assist with blood drive programs, and participate in a cross-functional Capstone project presented to executive leadership.

What you'll do#

• Prospect and network to identify and secure new blood drive opportunities.
• Shadow the blood drive process, including new account builds and event coordination.
• Develop community awareness through social media outreach and public presentations.
• Provide education and support regarding the organization's mission.
• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and advocates.
• Utilize tracking tools to maintain accurate contact information and project timelines.
• Participate in department meetings and contribute to cross-functional projects.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an accredited college or university program.
• Completion of at least 2 years of study in a related field, such as Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, Public Health, or Health Administration.
• A current, valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Strong organizational skills and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
