About the role#
VCU Health is seeking a Pharmacy Student to support daily operations and clinical initiatives within our hospital system. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling term. You will work on-site in Richmond, Virginia, collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support patient care and research.
What you'll do#
- Assist pharmacists with daily pharmacy operations.
- Participate directly in patient care activities.
- Maintain and organize medication inventory.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
- Support ongoing clinical research initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Biology, or Health Administration.
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy practices.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures.
