Business Intelligence Analyst Intern

About the role#

Vatic Outsourcing is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst Intern to join our team for the Summer 2026 term. This role provides hands-on experience in the telecommunications industry, focusing on data analysis, dashboard development, and client support. Interns will work 20-29 hours per week in a professional office setting. High-performing interns may be considered for future full-time opportunities.

What you'll do#

• Build dashboards and trackers in Microsoft Excel to monitor device usage, billing metrics, inventory, and ROI.
• Manage Power BI access updates and assist with internal database maintenance.
• Communicate with telecom carriers to track contracts, invoices, and resolve technical data issues.
• Support internal team members by troubleshooting dashboards and performing data scrubs.
• Utilize various reporting platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AirWatch, IBM MAAS, Tangoe, Zendesk, and Cyberreef.
• Track projects within Google Drive and assist account managers with ad-hoc projects.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment or background in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or Economics.
• Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and initiative.
• Comfort communicating professionally with clients and vendors.
• Preferred: Advanced Excel skills (PowerQuery, VBA Macros) and experience with Microsoft Power BI.

• Compensation: $15.00 per hour.
