About the role#
The POS System Support Intern will provide backup to the uServe System team to ensure smooth daily operations and enhance customer satisfaction. This role involves gaining hands-on experience with payment processing and terminal hardware in an onsite environment at our Flushing, Queens office.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to terminal hardware.
- Understand the characteristics of various credit card processing devices to support inventory management.
- Familiarize yourself with device-related CRM systems and handle device deployment requests.
- Proofread, translate, and adapt client-owned materials onto POS software.
- Develop analytical and communication skills while assisting the team with various operational tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Communications, or Cybersecurity.
- Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin-Chinese, including reading and writing, is required for translation tasks.
- An analytical mindset with an interest in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Authorization to work in the United States at the time of hire.
Location & details#
- Location: Flushing, New York.
- Modality: On-site, 20-25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. Lunch and transportation allowance are provided.
