As a Financial Aid Student Coordinator, you will guide current, prospective, and alumni students through the financial aid process. This role involves administering and determining eligibility for aid, managing disbursements, and providing financial literacy support to students and their families. You will report to the Director of Financial Aid and collaborate across departments to ensure student success.
What you'll do#
- Administer, determine eligibility, and process state and federal financial aid.
- Counsel students and parents regarding financial aid packaging and estimates.
- Manage default management and financial literacy programs.
- Assist with private loans and VA benefit packaging.
- Run internal reports to ensure work integrity and audit compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal regulations.
- Interact with various departments to provide comprehensive student support.
What you'll need#
- 2+ years of experience in Financial Aid.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with Campus VUE is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico (Brookline Campus).
- Work Modality: Full-time, on-site (5 days per week).
- Term: Rolling.
