The Digital Systems & Operations Intern serves as the technical backbone for the Operational Excellence (OPEX) function. This role is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the tools and data infrastructure that support the institution. You will act as the primary administrator for Asana, Google Workspace, Slack, and AI-powered productivity tools, ensuring that systems are optimized, documentation is clear, and workflows are automated to reduce manual effort.
What you'll do#
- Own the OPEX Asana workspace, including project structure, custom fields, and automations.
- Maintain the strategic project portfolio by ensuring milestone completions, status updates, and dependencies are current.
- Build and maintain portfolio dashboards and reporting views to provide leadership with real-time insights.
- Lead the institutional shared drive cleanup initiative, including auditing folders, implementing access logic, and migrating content to a new architecture.
- Configure and optimize Slack integrations with Asana and Google Calendar to improve team communication.
- Manage the team’s AI notetaker, including meeting setup, output review, and ensuring action items are accurately extracted.
What you'll need#
- Currently completing or recently completed a degree in information systems, business, computer science, data analytics, project management, or a related field.
- Demonstrable hands-on experience with at least three of the following: Asana, Google Workspace, Slack, or AI notetaking tools.
- Proven experience building or managing a complex shared drive, Asana workspace, or similar organizational system.
- Comfort with AI tools and active usage within your own professional workflow.
- Strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
