About the role#

Telecare Corporation offers internship opportunities for students in Psychology, Nursing, and Public Health. Interns join a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, nurses, and peer support specialists—to provide care for adults 18 and older. The programs focus on recovery-based treatment for conditions such as Schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder, PTSD, and Major Depression. Training includes weekly sessions on clinical skills like intake assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention, alongside mandatory online modules on HIPAA and corporate compliance.

What you'll do#

• Participate in group supervision with interns from various disciplines.
• Conduct individual targeted case management.
• Complete necessary documentation, including progress notes for Medi-Cal, Medicare, and county-specific forms.
• Perform Telehealth services with clients from the office.
• Engage in mental health rehabilitation in both individual and group settings.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Psychology, Nursing, or Public Health program.
• Willingness to observe all established COVID-19 protocols while working on-site.
• Ability to perform Telehealth services from the office location.
