Stoke Space is offering engineering internship opportunities for the Spring 2027 term. Interns work on real, open-ended problems that directly contribute to the company's mission of developing the Nova launch vehicle. You will collaborate with a mentor and other employees to apply your knowledge and grow your skills through high-impact projects across mechanical, test, avionics, and manufacturing teams.
What you'll do#
- Take ownership of real rocket products and contribute to high-impact projects.
- Collaborate with mentors and team members to apply engineering principles in a professional environment.
- Manage complex technical projects from conception through execution.
- Learn and apply state-of-the-art techniques to technical challenges.
- Maintain focus and self-direction in a fast-moving engineering environment.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical, or computer engineering, computer science, or a related STEM field.
- Exceptional command of engineering fundamentals.
- Hands-on engineering experience gained through internships, personal projects, work, or team activities.
- Ability to manage complex technical projects and execute them effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work full-time, on-site for 10-12 consecutive weeks starting in January 2027.
- Must meet U.S. export control requirements (ITAR).

- Locations: Cape Canaveral, FL; Kent, WA; or Moses Lake, WA.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Duration: Spring 2027 term.
- Compensation: Paid position ranging from $28.00 to $40.00 per hour based on education level.
