6 month Administrative Intern (PAID) - Children/Young Adult Department

About the role#

Stewart Talent is seeking an administrative intern to support the Children/Young Adult Department in New York. This six-month, full-time position is designed for individuals interested in talent representation, casting, and agency operations. The role requires a candidate who can manage shifting priorities, follow detailed instructions, and maintain professionalism in a busy office environment. Please note that a skills test is required prior to an offer being made.

What you'll do#

• Provide daily administrative support to agents and team members.
• Navigate agency databases, websites, and internal tools.
• Edit, label, organize, and upload digital client materials.
• Troubleshoot basic technical or workflow issues and communicate solutions clearly.
• Maintain organized records and files.
• Assist the team in managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

What you'll need#

• Strong computer skills with proficiency in iMovie, DropBox, WeTransfer, MS Outlook, and Google Docs.
• Ability to learn new software, apps, and digital platforms quickly.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong ability to follow directions.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Professional communication skills and a positive, patient attitude.
• Prior office, administrative, or entertainment experience is a plus, though entry-level candidates are welcome.
• Preferred majors include Business Administration, Communications, Media Studies, Graphic Design, or Psychology.

Location & details#

• Location: New York, New York.
• Term: 6 months, starting Summer 2027.
• Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
• Modality: Hybrid (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in-office; Monday and Friday remote).
• Compensation: $17.00 per hour, plus PTO as required by New York law.
