About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship position for Summer 2026. You will join the Wireless Communications and Health AI department at Stevens Institute of Technology to support research initiatives focused on cybersecurity and artificial intelligence for unmanned aerial systems (UAS) in contested environments.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development of cybersecurity measures.
- Support the implementation of AI applications for UAS.
- Conduct research on wireless communication systems.
- Collaborate with team members on ongoing projects.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations to document findings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
- Familiarity with AI technologies.
- Understanding of wireless communication systems.
- Ability to work effectively in contested environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
