Human Resources Internship

About the role#

This internship provides exposure to core human resources functions within a manufacturing environment. You will work alongside the HR team to support staffing, retention, employee benefits, and various departmental projects.

What you'll do#

• Assist in recruiting efforts for both hourly and professional positions.
• Screen candidates via phone and schedule interviews for hiring managers.
• Support onboarding processes and conduct new hire orientations.
• Communicate with hiring managers regarding their specific staffing needs and employee relations.
• Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS) to manage recruitment data.
• Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and contribute to ongoing HR projects.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• A cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Self-driven work ethic with the ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks independently.
