Superior Aluminum Alloys is seeking a high school intern to support the Health & Safety departments at our foundry. This role provides an opportunity to work directly with the safety coordinator and nurse to gain administrative and operational experience in a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist the safety coordinator with planning, documentation, training development, communication, and office clerical tasks.
- Support the nurse with documentation, employee tracking, and nursing office administrative duties.
- Work part-time, 10-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday during the 2026-2027 school year.
What you'll need#
- Must be a high school senior currently enrolled in an internship program through your school.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.
- High self-motivation with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with video and photo editing.
