Practicum Student

About the role#

As a Practicum Student at the Coachella Center, you will work under the guidance of a Clinical Supervisor to provide essential mental health and case management services. This role is designed to support your academic growth while contributing to the care of adults, children, and adolescents. You will maintain close contact with your supervisor and fulfill responsibilities outlined in both your university and practicum site agreements.

What you'll do#

• Provide mental health and case management services to clients and their families.
• Engage in individual and group therapy sessions under clinical supervision.
• Participate in family counseling and rehabilitative skill-building activities.
• Support medication management processes.
• Work with clients in various settings, including at home, at school, or within the community.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a master’s program focused on mental health.
• A valid California Driver License.
• Ability to adhere to both university and practicum site learning agreements.
• Commitment to working under the direct guidance of a Clinical Supervisor.
• Academic background in Psychology, Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration.

• Location: Coachella, California.
• Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Full-time, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Compensation: $17.00 – $18.60 per hour.
• Term: Rolling.
