About the role#
The Business Analyst Intern will support the Senior Business Analyst in gathering, documenting, and communicating business needs for internal projects and system improvements. You will work with business users, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements and processes are clearly understood.
What you'll do#
- Assist with creating and maintaining business requirements, process documentation, meeting notes, and project materials.
- Create, review, and update business process workflows.
- Attend project meetings to document key decisions, questions, and action items.
- Work with developers to clarify business requirements and answer business-related questions.
- Participate in user interviews and requirements-gathering sessions.
- Help identify gaps, unclear processes, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with translating business needs into clear requirements or development tickets.
- Support testing and validation to confirm that completed work meets documented business requirements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Operations, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized and comfortable managing documentation and meeting notes.
- Ability to ask thoughtful questions and communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with process mapping, requirements gathering, or software development is helpful but not required.
