About the role#
Southlake Health is seeking a Pharmacy Student for a casual, rolling position. This role focuses on supporting clinical pharmacy operations by gathering medication histories and contributing to a health and safety focused environment. You will work across various units, including the Emergency Department, while upholding professional and organizational core competencies.
What you'll do#
- Collect best possible medication histories from patients.
- Work within the Emergency Department and other patient care units.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Demonstrate strong problem assessment skills in clinical settings.
- Act as a role model for professional and organizational standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university-level Pharmacist Degree Program, at minimum in the second year.
- Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical arithmetic and terminology.
- Strong computer and keyboarding skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proven commitment to customer service and effective teamwork.
- Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance.
