As a Student Online Data Analytics Eco Rep, you will support the Office of Sustainability by managing data related to online initiatives and engagement. This role provides hands-on experience in project management, data analysis, and professional communication while contributing to the university's sustainability goals. This is a paid, part-time, remote position requiring 10-15 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Collect, organize, and maintain sustainability program data from online initiatives and engagement activities.
- Analyze data to identify trends, participation patterns, and opportunities for program improvement.
- Develop dashboards, reports, infographics, and data visualizations to communicate program impact.
- Research sustainability benchmarks, best practices, and emerging trends in higher education.
- Create and manage surveys, forms, and assessment tools to measure program effectiveness.
- Present findings and data-driven recommendations to Office of Sustainability staff and student teams.
- Compile monthly and semester impact reports and assist with institutional sustainability assessments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an SNHU student in good standing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar spreadsheet software.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to organize information consistently and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Interest in sustainability, environmental initiatives, or social impact programs.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Preferred: Coursework or experience in data analytics, statistics, business analytics, computer science, or environmental science.
- Preferred: Experience with survey platforms (e.g., Microsoft Forms, Qualtrics) and creating data visualizations or presentations.
Location & details#
- This is a remote position.
- The hourly pay range is $13.00 - $15.00, based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
- Attendance is required for meetings every other week for 1.5 to 2 hours.
- This role is open to students residing in approved states.
