Student - Online Data Analytics Eco Rep

About the role#

As a Student Online Data Analytics Eco Rep, you will support the Office of Sustainability by managing data related to online initiatives and engagement. This role provides hands-on experience in project management, data analysis, and professional communication while contributing to the university's sustainability goals. This is a paid, part-time, remote position requiring 10-15 hours per week.

What you'll do#

• Collect, organize, and maintain sustainability program data from online initiatives and engagement activities.
• Analyze data to identify trends, participation patterns, and opportunities for program improvement.
• Develop dashboards, reports, infographics, and data visualizations to communicate program impact.
• Research sustainability benchmarks, best practices, and emerging trends in higher education.
• Create and manage surveys, forms, and assessment tools to measure program effectiveness.
• Present findings and data-driven recommendations to Office of Sustainability staff and student teams.
• Compile monthly and semester impact reports and assist with institutional sustainability assessments.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as an SNHU student in good standing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar spreadsheet software.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to organize information consistently and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Interest in sustainability, environmental initiatives, or social impact programs.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Preferred: Coursework or experience in data analytics, statistics, business analytics, computer science, or environmental science.
• Preferred: Experience with survey platforms (e.g., Microsoft Forms, Qualtrics) and creating data visualizations or presentations.

Location & details#

• This is a remote position.
• The hourly pay range is $13.00 - $15.00, based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
• Attendance is required for meetings every other week for 1.5 to 2 hours.
• This role is open to students residing in approved states.
