This is a 16-week, writing-intensive position offering 10-15 hours of work per week. You will work closely with the content marketing team to support a multi-channel publishing schedule, focusing on researching, writing, and editing informative articles. This role provides foundational training in content marketing and search engine optimization (SEO).
What you'll do#
- Write and update articles covering academic and career topics for the SNHU blog and other marketing channels, adhering to university brand guidelines.
- Learn and apply search engine optimization (SEO) principles to new and existing content.
- Conduct interviews with sources using questions developed from your topic research.
- Assist the content team with daily publication tasks and participate in additional creative projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a writing, marketing, communication, or related undergraduate or graduate program at SNHU.
- Work study as part of your financial aid package.
- Interest or experience in writing for marketing.
- Strong proficiency in the English language.
- Ability to submit writing samples.
Location & details#
- Location: Remote, with potential hybrid opportunities for those within commuting distance of Manchester, New Hampshire.
- Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour.
- Schedule: 10-15 hours per week. You must be available for 1-2 virtual calls per week between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET.
