The Marketing Intern joins the Roosevelt Field mall management team to support property operations and promotional efforts. This role involves maintaining regular contact with tenants, vendors, and the public to resolve inquiries and coordinate mall events. This is a paid, part-time position requiring a consistent schedule with availability for occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the mall management team and retail store managers to secure participation in programs and events.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of special events and promotional activities.
- Produce short-form video and carousel content for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to promote mall amenities and retailers.
- Engage with tenants and the public to screen requests, resolve problems, and provide customer service.
- Support the SIMON+ customer loyalty program by securing retail store participation and offers.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.
- Strong working knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Proficiency in CapCut, Canva, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a focus on interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities.
- Demonstrated initiative with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in an independent and team-based environment.

- Location: Garden City, New York (Roosevelt Field Mall).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on skills and experience.
